Second time it blooms under my care. Last time, it flowered in early spring and the flowers were way darker with better shape.

It is very strange that the flowers looks so different. The longifolium traits are more apparent under warmer temps..maybe?

I can't believe that it's already been almost a year since the last time this plant bloomed. Is it me or time seems to go by faster as we get older?

Anyway, still a summer bloom but the colours are more vibrant this time around. So, I thought it was worth sharing.

Thanks! :)

Yay besseae hybrids! BTW, that's a small one!

Yeah I know  .It's still a baby, I think. At least for now it's only making a single growth at a time so I can manage the space for now...

Very nice!
What is the cross again?

It's one of those cross that the name says it all.
Sargent Eric = sargentianum x Eric Young :p

Yeah yeah I know, RHS writes Sergeant Eric.

I was assuming such, but you know how folks are with names.
Gracias!
