I'm not familiar with this plant. Can you give a little background? It really is lovely.

Parents are Sarc. hartmannii x Rhyn. retusa. Registered in 1973.
There were 3 clones that I know of that were mericloned & their quality was 1 - 3.
It will grow cool, not cold. Doesn't like a hot climate either. Flowering goes in cycles, this plant may have 5 or 6 or more spikes for its season. Other plants not so prolific. Flowers last for 3 weeks approx'.
I grow it in a coarse bark only medium. Others grow their plants differently, like any orchid. It gets watered & fed with everything in the house.

So it's grown approximately like Sarco? It seems to be
doing very well in your climate. I've never been to your
part of Australia. Do you have to make adjustments for
climate? The more I look at the plant the more I like
it...very distinctive and beautiful. Thank you.

Temps range from -7c to 45c+. Humidity outside from 5% to 100%.
Lots of work required in the orchid area to get a balance.
Its a challenge at times. Particularly when electricity prices are bank balance breaking. Gas prices not far behind either.
