Location
Bogotá (Colombia)
Some people could call it Phragmipedium manzurii, others x Colombianum. It comes from the Colombian Eastern Cordillera close to the Landazuri population (same locality where the manzurii plant was found). The petals are green but once it is fully developed it turns pale yellow.

Wonderful to see and thanks for posting! It definitely has a different look to it compared to the typical schlimii.

I do have another plant from the same place that is going to flower in a couple of days... I think it could be better to cross both plants.

Very pretty. Might you have a couple of photos to compare the flowers
from the different locations? I have one that hasn't bloomed yet and I'd
love to be able to see the differences.

The bug's eye view is intriguing. What particular bug pollinates this
flower? All the tendrils must be a bit daunting to any potential pollinator.
Makes me wonder why such hairiness evolved to attact what insect.
