The color and the velvety texture is stunning. When you
have a moment to spare, would you mind posting a photo
of the whole plant. I have an unbloomed EA and the leaves
look a bit different from the majority of my Phrags. It has about eight growths and shows no sign of having ever
bloomed. I'm beginning to wonder if the tag is correct.

These are a bit aged, when they open they are rounder, more the mickey mouse appearance and more velvet purple. I have had some problems focusing on them in the past but may try to make another shot or so. Season seems fading so there might not come more flowers. Have had them blooming through most of the winter though. Its two plants Don, but divisions so its no surprise that they are very similar. The plants are modest sized, but I have one that did not get divided and that one is massive. Everything is bigger, but not the flowers. Frankly, I prefer the smaller ones, as greenhouse space is a valuable thing. I will se if I remember to post some pictures on Monday. Do not have access to the files from here.......

Thank you, Bjorn. Now I have even more doubts that
my EA is actually an EA. The leaves and growth pattern
seem just a bit different, however, my plant is definitely
a Phrag. Oh, the mystery of it!
