Thank you all for your responses!! It's great to get feedback from more experienced growers!

Hello.
Looks like you have some experience yourself. Great blooms!
Did you bloom these inside your home, or do you have an area outside?
If inside, any additional lighting other than windows?
Thank you.

Hello Clark. Thank you for saying that!! I have been a gardener for more years than I care to count. This is really my first season of my orchids blooming. I though I would be a great orchid foliage grower! I have been growing orchids for a year and a half. This spring the only orchids that bloomed for me were a vinicolor maudie hybrid and Paph delenatii and those blooms were more precious than gold! Other paphs tried to bloom but aborted as the stem was rising. Same with catts, except substitute sheath for stem. This is a very exciting time. I have a dendrobium reblooming, phals and oncidiums in spike, catts in sheath and one in bloom, and several glorious paphs in bud or bloom. Ok, now I will answer your question. I grow indoors with no additional lights. A perk to living in the great state of Texas! Have a sunroom with 3 skylights and floor to ceiling windows and southern exposure that lets in good light but trees provide protection later in the day. There I keep my sun loving orchids. Also have a spare bedroom with protected southern and with eastern exposure windows. There I put everything else except for the compots I received for Tom. They are a distance away from a northern window where they get diffuse light but are far enough away from the window that they get room heat and the cool nights don't give them a chill.
