all are first blooms. 'tis the season. pretty much everything is blooming right now in the greenhouse, especially the bornean species. the other day i had 4 different sanderianum, as well as numerous lowii, stonei, roth, kolopakingii, all going. quite a site

here are 3 first bloom sanderianum

this is just what i thought was amazing. this is the inflorescence of P. hookerae var. volonteanum, and it is already at 53cm. each time it blooms it does a few cm more. i think last year it was close to 60cm when it opened.

and finally Paphiopedilum suppardii-another first bloomer. this one has grown easy for me. sorry for the poor quality on the first photo.. you can see the same volonteanum inflorescence in background too.

What is the leaf span of your sanderianums?

Do you know the parentage of your supardii? I might need pollen!
 
Wonderful blooms. Looks like you have a great set up too. You are very fortunate.
