Actually ended up being a pretty darn nice one.
Pics came out a little dark, but these are just to hold you over until the "real" pictures come.

NS of lowest flower is 23 x 18.5, Dorsal 5 cm, Synsepal 4.5cm, Petals 1.3 x 18.5
As was discussed in the progression thread, dorsal could be bigger. Overall, however, I'm quite happy. Blooming growth is 26" wide, in case you care lol.

That is an outstanding clone. Great colour and shape. I love the petal stance. This is way above average. Award quality in my opinion.

Nice. How many growths is that!?
5 altogether. 1 mature, 1 to bloom next year, 1 half, and two new leads.
I would be seriously happy with this - an outstanding clone!
Can you re-measure the biggest flower, now?
I measured it just before taking the pics.

I must say, I really can't wait to see this thing as a mature plant. 5 or 6 of these at 20% bigger would be just insane. I could easily see this having 30cm ns & 6cm dorsal on its 4th or 5th bloom.

Yes keep this one truckin!!! On a big plant this would be award quality....

what are you trying to achieve by crossing those two flowers? - if you have a definite plan, go ahead; but it has to be worth 6-10 years of effort and waiting (Id by a flask with 'superior' parents, personally)

Sorry, I missed the numbers under your photo..............too distracted by the photo.

Well, the cross hasn't been done, as far as I know. I'd be looking for petals that have a wide spiral. The CHD is better than my pic makes it look. I broke the stem when it bloomed.

WOW! That is a beautiful SS. Congratulations, and I can't wait for the "real" pictures!
