It is dificult and expensive to get K-lite in my country, but I think I´ve found something similar. It is a foliar fertilizer called Wuxal calcium.
I was wondering if it can be used as a substitute of K-lite:

The formulation is 10,0,0, 10Ca, 1.2Mg

What dou you think?

Detailed formulation:

Total Nitrogen (N) 10.000%
1.3% Urea Nitrogen
8.5% Nitrate Nitrogen
0.2% Ammoniacal

Soluble Calcium (Ca) 10.700%
Soluble Magnesium (Mg) 1.200%
Soluble Boron (B) 0.050%
Chelated Copper (Cu) 0.040%
Chelated Iron (Fe) 0.050%
Soluble Manganese (Mn) 0.100%
Soluble Molybdenum (Mo) 0.001%
Chelated Zinc (Zn) 0.020%
The cationic micronutrients (iron, copper, manganese
and zinc) are fully chelated (EDTA).

I think you are getting a bit carried away with K and P reduction.

Unless you have some K and P in your irrigation water, you need to have a little in there.

5 ppm of K is a good final value. 1-5 ppm of PO4 is probably good too.

Hi Rick, My irrigation water has not K nor P... so following your advice I am going to add a little bit of K and P... I think that adding some "normal" fertilizer to Wuxal I can get something close enough to K-lite.

BTW... what do you mean with "dirty" calcium nitrate?

You might find that adding a regular fertilizer will give you precipitation of your calcium component. There is sure to be a sulphate of one of the salts in the salts in the regular fertilizer. calcium sulphate is not soluble and will precipitate out, as does the phosphate of calcium.
