As a native Pittsburgher (born and raised, 18 year West Mifflin native, less than a mile from Kennywood)...

GO STEELERS!!!!

Being the favored team (on paper) makes me nervous though...

What's your preference???

BTW, just watched a fun Leafs v Pens game. Pens lost, but it was an entertaining game.

near kennywood? crazy...
all my family is from and lives in pittsburgh except my folks and some scattered relatives.
i ain't a sports fan but go steelers!

Okay, I about lost my dinner a couple times in the second half. Wore out my Terrible Towel! :) Great game, great outcome. Lotsa hard work on both sides! The Cards had a great game plan- perfect against the Steeler D. Those short passes and post-pass gains added up pretty nicely for them. Troy P never saw much action- smart. Rock on Steeler Nation; rest up for fall. Four more, then we wear rings on our feet...

Now the Penguins gotta get their act together!!! As cool as the Lombardi trophy is, there's nothing like seeing The Cup glide above the ice.

The Doritos commercials in the first half were my faves (crystal ball and dude hit by bus). The last Pepsi one before The Boss was great too.

I think the Commercials will win. :D

What was your favorite?
There were ALOT of pretty lame ones but I loved the Budweiser one were the Clydesdale paid tribute to his grandfather & told the story on the different things he tried growing up - like being a racehorse & pulling a buggy!!! :rollhappy: :rollhappy:

What was your favorite?
I thought 3 of them were quite good:
The one with the Clydesdale fetching the log,
The one where the little boy captured the wind in a jar and let it loose on his grandfather's birthday cake candles, and
the Pepsi one with the insects stealing a bottle of pop, it's travels and that the bottle the guy thought he was reaching for dissolved into butterflies.

All three were imaginative, positive and creative.

Let's just say it was no 1984.

(I'm hopeful that there are at least a few of you, Dot included(!) who will get that reference but if not, let me know and I'll dredge up what I'm talking about on youtube.)

Heard it was a good game, one of the better ones. I think it is always nice when the finals are fairly well matched teams. Kinda sad for the Cardinals, but at least they got there. I flew through Phoenix last week and people were pretty darn excited there. Go for 2010!

Of course I know that reference!!! That's the classic of all time, plus it announced the new era that we are all participating in, whether we are Mac or PC people. Apple did change the world.
