Bloomed two yrs in a row the same way only this year's is better! if you can believe that! It was doing fine up to a week ago then developed some rot issues. I me it looks like something else in the background of this concolor.

and a side view

""To me it looks like something else in the background of this concolor."""

Someone with a net to capture it before it gets away ?????

Not all that flash is it Rick. Foliage and general flower looks like concolor, can't really see anything else.

It might be a hybrid or the growing conditions made the flower develope otherwise than normal?? It looks fantastic though! I hope it gets over the rot issues soon...:)

rather unusual shape for this concolor  !!! Jean

btw., my concolor has on its old growth, flowering earlier this year, one of the older leaves showing similar signs than your plant; nevertheless, there are 2 new growths, one of which started developping a bud! What are you going to do with your plant? repotting?

maybe something from the cochlopetalum section?? like primulinum var. flavum??

I did repot and I ripped the rotted part off.

IDK, It does look big, hopefully you can resolve the rot issues. BTW is that your parishii?
I don't know who's parishii....all those plants just showed up at the bottom!?!?.....And worst yet, I can't ID the photographer to buy it from them!:rollhappy:

Back in the good old days, plants of wenshanense (in those days called Conco-Bellatulum) would regularly show up in shipments of concolor and bellatulum. That might be an explaination.
