Hello I though I would share some pics of the Cyclamen hederifolium (i guess) I have found at my village and it is pretty evident almost everywhere now in Greece! There is also a photo of a plant (last picture) that grows like weed in my mom's garden! I would appreciate it if you could id it! TY:)

(Photos: flowers, leaf variation, noid flowers)

TY for the id...:D:D:D

Lovely TY! Are they growing in a woodland setting? Bright light or more shady?

Cyclamens I found where mainly found under olive trees! So imagine mostly open space with mediterranean shrub vegetation (Quercus coccifera etc)! Most of them can be found around the base of the srubs and trees, so I think they prefer it kind of shady! Soil does not particularly matter. They need it kind of moist though! In fact they are found from mediterranean shrub vegetation to beech forests, so they are somehow tolerant to many conditions! But it is certain that they do not love sun many hours per day (1-3 is adequate)!

Hello,

Last Sunday I went for an exqursion to Mt Olympos again and found these at 1050-1100m under Fagus...! I took a lot of pictures this time! :) Enjoy!

Note: I have first put flowers and then leaves (not from the same plants necessarily) to see the variation. The last picture is the same fly pollinator (at least to my eys) as in picture 5 (wish it was not that shaky...)
