This site is a park dedicated to the display and preservation of Mogollon rock art called petroglyphs. There are very many, defy description and must be seen. It's better to be back a bit, and be squinting a little... they are very cool

Kirk, you ARE a mad man! LOL! Good work Charles. I've
seen some of the petroglyphs and they are amazing and
some I saw were HUGE and in places that seemed impossible to reach. Were you near any reservation land?
 
Angela, I think this is still south of where many home lands are. If you go to white sands and then go a little ways northeast this is where these are. Many of the pueblos with petroglyphs are further north yet from where I've been (just a little out of reach of day trips)
