Twilight x Acker's Ballerina

This comes to me by way of the mountains of western NC. First bloom seedling. Interesting to see how much the color fades as the new bud opens.

There are a lot of crosses around lately that don't look the way they should. I would love to have access to genetically test the blooms. Very beautiful. Yay besseae hybrids! Thanks for sharing.

Love them both and find the pastel shade that it fades to very appealing. Nice to have them both on the same plant.

There does seem to be a slight fragrance which I would not have noticed without your suggestion/question...nice.

The fragrance develops over time and isn't overwhelming,
but it's a lovely floral scent...soft and enticing. Perhaps
we can trade divisions someday. BTW, Acker's Ballerina
doesn't fade at all.

Very lovely blooms love the colour it fades to as fell as it opens.

Unusual to see such color variation on the same plant. Most Phrag flowers don't fade to a different color.
