I've come to love this species. I really like the weird brain looking pouch and the color combo is beautifully coordinated. Congratulation on the blooms. By the way; how big is the plant??? I just got mine in on the mail today and want to have an idea of how much longer before it's blooming size. Again; congratulations !!!!

Very nice. Hopefully you'll get a bunch of new growths and have 3 flowers next year.

I've seen some very large clumps of this species at shows with dozens of growths and blooms open at the same time.

biothanasis - No, I grow it in a mix of spaghnum, lava rock, perlite and bark.

Roly0217 - The leaf span is about 25 cm, but it is bigger this year than before so I can be smaller and still bloom.
