This is my faithful 'Magnifico' x sib. I don't think this blooming is as flat as it normally is but, oh well, still not too shabby!
It's not, I'm too challenged to know how to photoshop it!The green looks artificial.
Maybe a little underexposed, but not too bad. It's not, I'm too challenged to know how to photoshop it!
It's pretty accurate, do you think the pic is underexposed?
Green with that mid white streak. I lightened to photo a bit, it's a black back drop & now it's looking a little smoky to me.Maybe a little underexposed, but not too bad.
Actually, Photoshop is great for correcting the color errors from digital cameras.
What color is the area just above the staminode shield, where the petals attach?
I thought so. In the first photo, the "white" is green, indicating a color imbalance as well as a little underexposure.Green with that mid white streak.
I agree. Contrast is very important to keep it from looking smoky or foggy. Another thing one can do with Photoshop, and probably other image-editing software.I lightened to photo a bit, it's a black back drop & now it's looking a little smoky to me.
13cm. It's a keeper!What's the flower span Rose? Looks like a keeper!!
I have tried a light background, I didn't like it, the colors are more accurate with a dark one. The colors are rich in comparison to others I've seen.It must be a very, very nice one!!! (but I would shoot this bloom with much more light, and maybe not the dark background, to get the real beauty of these colors) Jean
