(helenae x fairrieanum)

This one joined the collection a little over a year ago as a large seedling and it has a flower already and two new starts too! Unfortunately it had an accident and the dorsal has been bent a little but it's hardly noticeable. Guess I'll forgive a certain family member. lol

Off with their head.

:rollhappy:

I think that's what she thought since she didn't say anything for a day or two. But I can't say much since I knocked my sisters Onc. Mendenhall over and broke this years new growth off. I can't say that I'm a fan of orchid collection migration. :sob: lol

Was the fairrieanum parent of this plant an alba?

This is the nicest Paph Reinier I have seen so far.

The 3 other plants had pretty ugly color, with just too much brown on the dorsal and petals..

Yes, I thought it was going to be darker as well, so I was pleasantly surprised by the pale colourization. I checked my lists but they didn't supply anymore info but they usually make a note on the tag if it’s a variation. Sorry that I can't be more useful. I'll ask the growers, Claudio or Warren, when I see them.
