What marvelous fortune that both albas have the same genetic basis!

The cross is very nice but where to from here? Line-breeding for larger dorsals? I imagine the flower is 2-3x the size of a regular charlesworthi?

If I remember correctly both the coloratum and album forms of the cross were made early in the last century? Odd that they are not more popular as it is very attractive IMO.

No the flower is not big .

Oh. That's sad. Was hoping villosum would have increased the size of the cross. Maybe the charlesworthi genetics is dominant or it has something to do with the alba characteristics?

I think the alba crosses are hiding the background of many of the complex whites.
