All - I really appreciate all the feedback. I just don't want to waste soil and have perlite littered all over my yard. I think the happy medium rotating soil annually and adding fertilizer might be the way to go. So any given season there will be a bag of soil in the yard for a few months

I want to get ideas in my head on paper for a neofinetia pot/figurine simple colored pencil on paper. Unfortunately, beyond stick figures, I’m not very artistic. Does anyone know of anyone that’s good with colored pencil on paper for drawings with realistic people and inanimate objects?

Haworthia parksiana - I think it’s the smallest haworthia species? The first photo has a penny for size comparison. It’s really cute. I bought 3 individual rosettes 2-3 years ago and seems to be ok in neo growing conditions without the humidity.
