    Paphiopedilum insigne fma. sanderianum

another perfect albino species! very nice and no spots on the dorsal as I belief to be required for fma. sanderianum! I really have a soft spot for these albino species...

    Paphiopedilum delenatii album😁😁😁

that is the best "nature friendly" pest control I have ever seen :-)

    Paph lawrenceanum fma hyeanum

Thanks Rudolf, the flower variations in these scans are convincing. As suggested before I will keep the tag Paph lawrenceanum fma hyeanum As you know, I recently started posting but already I love slippertalk so much! In my humble opinion no other slipper forum or FB group can compete. The...

    Paph lawrenceanum fma hyeanum

Hi Rick, thank you very much for your extensive prework & reply! The points you are raising were also the points for my doubt exactly. If my flower looked more like the albino photo you posted I would have been 100% convinced. Here are my considerations: It is more yellow green and I was...

    Paph bellatulum fma album

My absolute most favorite albino !!! First flowering of two young plants earlier this year I had purchased way in 2019. To be honest getting new fans mature and healthy is still a bit of a challenge.... new fans are growing but I don't like the brown area that develops on older leaves ...

    Paph chamberlainianum

Flowering ended mid of april... then the painful waiting started for a new fan, seems that never will come. Almost got desparate as I saw the flowered fan degrading and six months had passed, but since last week I can relax a bit.

    Paph lawrenceanum fma hyeanum

Picture was taken yesterday evening in artificial light and probably the "further away" grow LED did that. Today in natural light it is pure green so it can keep the "albino" tag Thank so much Rudolf !!!

    Paph wardii fma alboviride

Yes you are correct it was first blooming ! What gave it away ?

    Paph lawrenceanum fma hyeanum

With so many intermixed and wrong labeled 'maudiae' hybrids and so many lawrencianum variants in culture you can never be sure. I would have liked to see a bit more developed lip and maybe a more horseshoe staminode shape, a bit brighter green coloring to better match the old Desbois'...

    Paph wardii fma alboviride

another (a bit older) family picture - in fact the plant is working on a new flower but taking it's time... will add to this post for comparing when open

    Paph appletonianum fma immaculatum (*)

(*) bought as this albino form but on flowering sadly it got "botanically disqualified" for having small anthocyanin (red) dots - I still love it very much and for sure it deserves a place in my collection!

    Paph haynaldianum fma album

This great site and all your nice comments on my previous posts are so inviting to share more! My Paph addiction resulted in 10 yrs 'simple windowsill' then 15 yrs 'greenhouse' and finally 15 yrs 'in house LED light' growing area. With limited space I focus mainly on albino slipper species. As...

    Paph hennisianum fma christiansenii

Thank you all for the warm welcome on slippertalk and for all nice comments to my first posts. Hope you don't mind for sharing another albino species that has flowered a few weeks ago.

    Paph fowliei fma christianae

Sharing another albino species in my collection that first flowered last september. I like the fact that absence of colors makes you appreciate the finer details (veins, cilia, warts, shapes) so much more. I always cut the first flower after it got it's final shapes and curves so the plant can...

    Paph tonsum fma alboviride

Second flowering after a bit of struggling with spiderrmites last year. (hard to keep humity in house high enough during summer period.) It is not my favorite albino species, but I still like it's delicate colors.

    Paph purpuratum fma album

Thanks for all nice comments and questions. I just started posting on slippertalk yesterday (the charlesworthi album was first post ever here) and I like all the interactions so far. I did not keep the pollen. Wil surely do on it's next flowering. I hope the plant would be stronger by then to...

    Paph purpuratum fma album

Happy to show more pics. I have no more parentage on tag. They are grown under LED light in my coolest north facing room. All in my cooler room orchids receive a daily 9 hours 80-100 µmol m-2 s-1 PPFD LED light & 250-350µS MSU type fertilized RO water. Cut the flower after it fully opened as I...
