Thanks Rudolf. I agree with you. I originally bought 6 and this one took off and left the others in it's dust. I use to buy three plants of a grex and get one keeper. Now I'm up to six! I'm going backwards 🥴!

The Charles clone is an old one. I'm thinking/wondering if this clone was Charles "Doc" Emerson's plant. If so, that would make it 30+ years ago. Many paphs had different names back then.

The dorsal looks very praestans to me. It still could be philie parent thou.

Yeah this plant needs to step up this growing season. Retain its back growth and brake multiple eyes to put out more flowers. Four would be great and 5 fantastic.

It is about a 50/50 mix of sponge rock and LARGE Orchiata now. This philie has been in this basket since 9/2016. Last Oct I knocked out the old and added new. Never took it out of the basket. Six years is pretty good. PS. If anyone is having issues with stonei this works wonders.

With this plant i may have an issue with root loss because there are so many. Other plants slip out quite easily with carefull encourage. Most repotting i just knock out the old and add new leaving the pot and plant as is.
