    Repot...again?

    I would not repot. I would use a pot about 2 or 3 inches bigger in diameter and fill it with the same type of compost that the plant is in. I would then gently just sugmerge the plant ( still in its pot ) so that it sits in the middle of the larger pot. This will give the roots plenty of room...

    The pics I have found and the odd watercolour have only shown dalessandroi with one bloom at a time. This plant had all five blooms out at the same time last year--does this make any difference to its identity? Ed

    Hi Eric. No reason to believe that it is anything else but Eric Young. It came directly ( through a friend ) from the EYF a couple of years ago. If my memory serves me correctly they did say it was from a 4N longifolium if that makes any difference? Ed

    Phragm. Franz Glanz in trouble

    Add some large perlite to the sphagnum and keep the plant wet ( not damp ) and Phrags like cool water at their roots. It will settle in you only need patience, Ed

    Paph tigrinum

    Beautiful plant. Do you think a sangii would require the same conditions to bloom. I've had a sangii for 4 years and has only produced a new growth this year. The plant is 7" high and 11" across any ideas how I can get this to bloom?? Ed

    Hi Ruli. As promised my caudatum has now flowered and is the plant closest to the camera. The other one is warcewiczianum--- I can't tell the difference. The warcewiczianum was bought from KJ orchids.
