    Urea fertilizer - outstanding results

Hi stone, from the time I noticed the leaf color was good and the new growths were starting to grow I switched to another (standard) fertilizer because it is better for the roots. The Idea was to get those growths to a good size very fast. And they did. The new starter growths of P...

    roth album... IT"S BEEN FOUND!!!!

If there really was a roth album, some of us definitely would know that. Remember when the first picture of a stonei album was showed to the public. In this case it most definitely is a photoshop version of a standard roth (with very poor shape imho). I am pretty sure tough that a praestans...

    cam plants

They are definitely not cam plants. I measured the co2 ratio in a light efficiency test some years ago. It would not make sense anyway for paphs and phrags to be cam plants since they don't have to worry about water loss.

    Pre-treatment of coconut water ?

I just add the coconut water from bottles from a local store to the medium. It is heated in the autoclave too and sediments sink to the bottom of the flask. But this never was a problem. Keep the process of media preparation as simple as possible. That's how I do it: P6668 at half concentration...

    re-pot or not?

Well, I actually don't quite get it why you asked us if you should repot it :poke: I wish the very best for your plant tough.

    re-pot or not?

Definitely leave it as it is. The plant is very healthy and you could harm the new root tips. Absolutely no need to repot imho. Wait until the new shoots have roots and then it should be ok to give it a new pot.

What is/are Your Most Frustrating Paphs?

The parishiis and dianthums. I cannot give them enough cold temps in winter. One year I've left them outside until temps dropped almost to zero degrees C. That was their best year so far :) I don't have alot of them tough.

    Another rothschildianum

Well that is interesting. I have the same cross. It has flowered the first time on a 114cm plant and at the moment it is at 122cm. They seem to be very big... Google for rothschildianum 'Big Bird' if you are interested.

    Philippinensis won't bloom

If you can upload a pic of the plant and where you grow it we can give you much more precise answers for your problem. Without that it is more of a guessing game...
