    Picasso & Einstein

Yes they are nocturnal, but not overly noisy. I don't think they stink. They are on a very good diet cages are cleaned weekly. We have all 12 (6 cages) in our bedroom. I think ferrets stink more.

    Picasso & Einstein

The parents just rejected them (about 3 weeks old). We are getting them to eat off of a spoon now, they should be able to eat on their own in another 1-2 weeks, and solid food after 2-3 weeks.

Yes they are Sugar Gliders. They are originally from Australia. They are in the marsupial family (females have a pouch) related to kangaroos. Full grown with the tail they are about 8 inches. We now have 12 of them. Its not that much work, I think it is fun feeding them, they lick the food...

Growers: How Are you Dealing With the Heat?

It was about 95 today with heat index at about 100. Tomorrow & friday are going to be hotter. I have most of mine in the basement about 70 now. The only ones outside are the Cyps, & 1 Cymbidium which only get morning sun & shade the rest of the day. I have misted them 2x's a day with the heat.

    LEGAL Paphiopedilum hangianum

Its about time!! Now if we can just work on all the others that are still illegal (Cyps for example), than there we can get rid of CITES for good.... Just think of the money the US would save to close a branch of the Govt for good..
