    That is inspiring! Superb growing.

    philippinense 'Long Beard'

Outstanding! Nice tight twist to well coloured petals, well marked and balanced dorsals. Hard to beat a well flowered philli

    Yes!

As always, your photos are a treat. Simply wow! (Whatever it is)

    Very attractive, well coloured clone.

    Coconut: young or old?

Green coconut is better than brown mature coconut. I have used both, and also health shop coconut water. I have tried all three with variations of dilution of M&S, with and without charcoal and again with various concentrations of Knudson. At the moment my impression is that one third strength...

    Paph volonteanum vs. hookerae

Impressive spike lengths. Has it maxed yet?

    Paph volonteanum vs. hookerae

Acmodontum aspiring to the same lofty levels, but came up short? Tough neighborhood for the acmodontum!

    Paph richardianum

Been away for a while, nearly missed this! Great plant Rick. The colour graduation in the pouch and the pale centers to the petals are a standout. A stunner, ....!

    A four flowered lowii

    Looking good!

    Leucochilum 'Choy Pau'

Breathtaking! But. Have to agree with Eric. Leucochilum is best viewed as a variety of godefroyae distinguished by the absence of colour in the pouch. Spots or otherwise, it is simply that, a white pouch, and all three have colour. For some reason people seem to take exception to their plants...

    Paph sukhakulii 'Granite Creek'

Interesting clone. You don't often see many around with so much white in the pouch anymore. I guess that was bred and selected out in the early days. (A pity in a way, I think the pouch is very striking)

    Paph acmodontum

Stratospheric! Wow! I don't think I have ever seen an acmodontum with such a stem! That is tops.

    St Swithin

Very interesting clone of SS. I would not have expected this from the parents listed, just goes to show the variation possible. Love it. I would buy this in a flash!

    victoria-regina x fairrieanum?

Very nice. Gonna be hard to name it for certain though. My gut feel is that there are more than two species involved though.

shin yi apple x hsinying carlos ( maudiae)

Strangely enough there are hundreds of 90% callosum/lawrenceanum hybrids, (hence the 'Maudiae' epithet), but that remaining 10% makes for huge differences and variation. Impressive flatness to that, I am interested what the next blooming will reveal

How long from compote to blooming size

Very variable. As PMM has pointed out, it is very heavily influenced by breeding (as well as grow conditions). Callosum I have bloomed within 18 months from flask, but having said that I have others that are yet to bloom 4 years later. For me parvis , - never! Good luck, a great selection you...
