Very nice DirGo! I love green/White flowers.
It's strange, my regular dianthum Is one of the most long lasting flowers of the genus, It started flowering on august and still have some flowers on It. Do you grow It on a windowsill?
Good observations!
I just think the more you water a plant the less developped its root system is.
But my experience Is limited to organic medium I know nothing about S/I or other cultural methods.
Jens, thanks a lot for your warm words!!!
It's a great pleasure for me as I guess for all the members who partecipated in this thread to know something more deep and personal about us.
Grazie! I'm a man.
The best advise I can give you Is to respect the dormant period, that Is quite long at least in my conditions, it' s very simple just stop watering/ fertilizing during winter months. I keep mine bone dry till new vegetation begins to grow up again.
Intermediate temp. Good...
Leslie, no worries! It could be.
But just take the following in consideration:
-the pink colour that appear in the picture Is not so pink in reality( I take picture with my phone...not the best optics for sure)
light conditions into the GH may false real colour.
I agree about petals and sepals...
