In my opinion, if the flower is over 12cm NS it's a Cirila Alca. Under 12cm NS it's a Fritz Schomburg made with the besseae flavum. Did you buy a flask or a plant? I find plants from Peruflora takes around a year to bounce back and start growing properly after purchase. 4 years is not too bad...

Thanks :) The Les Platons has a very interesting colouring to it. A bit of white, pink and peach. I hope that the next bloom opens up fully. The stem is kinda crowded and I might cut everything around the next bud.

You need to be rigorous and generous with your cinnamon+alcohol applications (at least three days in a row) and a fresh bottle of rubbing alcohol works best.

Heat stress? Old media and need to be repot? Over watering due to Heat stress and the need to be repot? That is what I would be looking at before doing anything drastic. Especially if the plant was doing fine up until now. I grow schlimii, longifolium, besseae and fischeri and only the besseae...
