With those parents you don't expect it to STAY compact do you? I do Like it, will be interesting to see more mature plants.

A little too eager to leave home

Do you mean European robin or American robin? It does not look like an American robin to me as it is way too small! Cute little thing though. (another time it would be helpful if people would note their location on the upper right corner)

    Star Wars film order order

Start them in the order released, and he can at least share the experience in the same sequence you did. Its not as if he won't probably watch them only once!

Why molecular taxonomy is pure ********....

Getting back to the title of this thread....I don't think one should completely invalidate an area of study, (ie molecular taxonomy) just because a particular paper is very bad or has incorrect information. Just because something is published, even if in a reputable Journal, does not mean it has...

    glass flowers (image-heavy)

As I recall, these were made over a hundred years ago, by an immigrant European master glass blower and his son. At the time it was felt these would be a good teaching tool, and they are supposed to be anatomically correct. I know I have read about them somewhere before; was there a prior...

    Sc. Rosella Bells update

It seems I have seen a well known Cattleya posted with a name like "Rosie pink something, alba." It was commented that in the meri-cloning of this particular variety, one of the plants grew out white, and was an obvious sport. It may even have been on this forum, Did anyone else see it? Anyway...

    Nick's close out cross question.

It seems someone asked this before, or maybe I just remember it being brought up in another thread, but like Rose, I haven't a clue on what it was ot what the thread was.

    Paph sanderianum divisions for sale

Well, I can't say if these are recently collected or not, but as someone who has gone thru periods of upheaval when my plants had some serious neglect, and other times when they were grown under less than prime conditions out doors, it seems to me the appearance is not that bad, and they may...
