Its got dots on the inside of the pouch. I tried to get a photo of it, but the opening isn't really large enough to get a shot of the inside...
The cross is: parviflorum x macranthos {var} speciosum, according to the RHS.
This coming weekend (21st-22nd March) - Anyone going?

I will be there on Saturday to look around and then again on Sunday for Judges Training.
Two growth plant, second blooming for me:
This is the plant that is listed for the auction (if we can go ahead with auction plants in the EU??)
The parents are: hain. ‘Lilac Mist’ x hain. ‘Dancer’
Here's the 5th flower on the plant I bought that was labelled Paph. primulinum (from a quite reputable vendor). There are still more buds on this spike, and it looks like another fan is matured and about to send up a second spike.
Whatever it is, I still think its quite pretty!
Well, its finally bloomed... not a good flower, no symmetry, color breaks... eh. Certainly hasn't lived up to the anticipation from that nice dark spike!
Looks like it will be sequential flowering. I've been told it is likely liemianum x wardii.
Hi Paul! I would be grateful for any hints or tips that you've found in growing your's. Anything that you have found works (or really doesn't work!) would be helpful. I was planning on keeping it with my other vietnamense seedlings and giving it much the same conditions as them.
I'm sure you'll find something!
The thread with the most recommendations (I think) is this one:

If someone in Arizona can grow these, then I'm sure you'll find something that works for you.
That's it! Thanks so much, Nik! And he still has Masdies too. I have heard nothing but good things about the Masdies people have gotten from him.
I'd love to have that Masd. Red Panda he has listed under comm pots!
I have found that photos of blooms always help to 'sell' plants. One of the plants I know I want to donate is just about to open up...
Do you think it would be helpful to have a photo of the plant and flower for the auction?
Rose, apparently the guy in Hawaii who does the Miltonias (sorry, but I forget his name) used to also supply warmth tolerant Masdies. There are a couple people down in Florida growing those and they are doing well for them - I think air circulation still needs to be very good for them to stand...
Beautiful colour! Sunny is just the way to describe it!
Congrats on seeing your baby bloom! Hope 'life' gets sorted out for you! We'll all look forward to more posts when it does.
:rollhappy: Now that's a fanatic!!:poke:
Able to tell where the tags are from!
You are right about the 2 from Burham and 1 from Ratcliffe. There are three from Popow (the three largest plants). I don't think these larger seedlings are the ones on the website, but in my opinion, it is...
