    Paph Pinnochio x primulinum

Nice one, Eric! I think that the plant I got as primulinum, is in fact this, Avalon Mist... It looks quite similar to your's. You are right, we seem to have similar tastes! I take it this is another of the 'couch paphs' - or did you just move it there for the photo? :poke:

    Paph Christiana Richards

Fantastic! That is a beautiful flower. I have a seedling of this one, so thanks very much for including a photo of the entire plant! It gives me some indication of how much more mine has to grow to be flowering size. :)

Lost tag - in spike - any ideas?

Well, the spike has developed a bit further. I think we can probably rule out Iantha Stage, as I don't think the buds would still be this dark, and I can't see any real striping on them... It also looks like I'm going to have 4 or 5 flowers, which isn't really typical of Iantha Stage...

    The person below me game......

The very South of England, just above Southampton (which is right in the middle along the South Coast). Snowdrops are in flower, leaf buds on trees are starting to swell. Hellebores will be next to open, then some of the early crocus which are also poking their buds up... definitely signs of...

    The person below me game......

False. But I do have a horse that lives in our garage (converted to a stable). So I get plenty of 'homemade' fertiliser for the garden! TPBM recently received a first place at their society's show table!

    vietnamense

This is quite interesting (and possibly quite worrying!) to me. I have 6 vietnamense seedlings, but I haven't had them all that long. I was under the impression that they were not very difficult to grow and flower... in fact, I thought they would be easier than some of the other parvis. I...

    Paph. Memoria Larry Heuer

I would definitely agree. This one has some really quite nice things about it, and I really like the colour! I think we see a lot of MLH that are not actually that cross. This plant of your's looks like it should for this cross, I think.

    The person below me game......

True. And I like unbaked cookie dough even better! TPBM just noticed some hardy orchids beginning to poke their noses up out of their pots!! :D Spring is definitely on its way!

    Darwinara Charm x Neofinetia falcata

I'm hoping that one of the ones I have will be the yellow with the pink tips!! :D Hopefully we'll see this summer.

    Darwinara Charm x Neofinetia falcata

Nice one, Dot! I really like the consistent overall colour. These are great little hybrids! Olaf, I had some from New World Orchids for sale, however, they were very popular! Glenn is coming back here in June and could bring more if anyone wanted one. Here is a photo of one of the...

    vietnamense in hybridizing

Totally agree! I got my copy last Thursday, and by that wonderful synchronicity that happens sometimes, some vietnamense hybrids arrived in a package on Friday. :smitten::smitten: One of which is a very nice sized seedling of Benedikt (thank you Ramón for the heads up about the new plants...

Paphiopedilum venustum forma measuresianum and others..

It sure does look like you had a great day! Those are some wonderful photos! I bought venustum simply because its leaf pattern was so pretty - still waiting for my seedlings to bloom, though... so will have to keep enjoying the leaves. Thanks for sharing the photos of your's - I'll bring...

    Quick Den culture question

Once you see that the little bumps have formed into buds. I was told that if you start watering too early, the bumps will become keikis and not flowers. I don't grow any nobile types, but here's a pic of my unicum from last year - it had flowers up and own almost the entire cane - they can...
