    Decisions, Decisions

I agree with slipperking..... pollinate all three, you will have enough pollen. Obviously make sure the mother plant has the size and stamina to support a pod. If I could only choose one, I would choose the Robinianum because it's a newer direction of breeding. HK and Jerry Spence are both...

    Paph Conco-bellatulum x emersonii

The balance and symmetery is wonderful. One of the best emersonii hybrids I have seen. The dorsal is wonderful and the folower looks well-held on its stem. Great color too. Christian

    Michael Koopowitz petals

I am referring to about two inches from the tip of the petals. I am going to tip the pot next time so the petals dangle without touching anything. I also wonder if a nearby fan is helping the drying-out process.

    Paph Deena Nicol

Deena Nicol is a great plant. Nice dark and usually large flowers for the size of the plant. I really like seeing it in bloom. In fact, we awarded one a CCM this past year or so at the Northeast Judging center. They aren't any harder or easier to bloom than other multi paphs. Cold snaps...

    Michael Koopowitz petals

Hello all, I have a pretty decent MK in bloom right now with three flowers -- it's a first bloom seedling. The problem is that the upper ends of the petals dried out very very fast. I grow in a greehouse with humidity never less than 55% and daily temps of 62 at night and higher in the day...

    Paph malipoense x Fanaticum

It looks like a straight Mem. Larry Heuer to me. The spots in the pouch, shape/color of the staminode, petal shape and color on the petals where they meet is a dead give away. Also, the dorsal stance screams Mem. LH. Christian

    Need advice with venustum

The plants looks like it will be fine. I understand your concern but it is not all that serious. I would remove the lowest leaf and repot the plant with a mixture of medium & fine sized bark. The only concern I have is that that new roots look like they have dead tips. Their tips are all...
