    They were in flask, so not jungle collected. I meant they were not the result of a long and extensive breeding program. The vendor claimed that he was the first to get them to grow roots in flask. I'm skeptical about that, but how many generations could there be between 1981 and 1994? Not many.

    That's great. I'm glad they're making a comeback. I haven't seen any for 3 or 4 years here in Ottawa. This year I saw a few but didn't find any eggs.

    Thanks. Maybe I'll give one a try. They're coming to Ottawa in October. Usually the eastern societies share the cost of sponsoring a foreign vendor for a speaking tour in the fall, so they may be going to Toronto and Montreal as well. Yes, I have a few Cyps from Garden Slippers.
