    As you might rememebr my Phrag wallisi (or popowii) just flowered for the first time. Since the flower opened I have had 3-4 leaves die back. They start to turn brown at the base of the leaf right at the fan. It continues to die back and as the leaf is almost completly dead the next leaf starts...

    They stopped at about 14" now. I had the plant about 2 years as a seedling and it is only a one growth plant right now with about a 16" leaf span. Good Luck Grandma :)

    Ellen I was doing about a dozen pieces ranging from small branches (1"-2" diameter) to big hunks of thicker branches (4"+ diameter). It took a lot of soaks, at least a 5-6 weeks of soaks (not sure exactly how many times though). This is not including me leaving them out in the weather for 2...
