    Chemical Warfare for Bush Snails

Kevin, please let us know what you use and at once strength and frequency. Most of us have this problem at least to a certain degree once we acquire large collections.

    Sold fairrieanum

I recently bought some from our Tim of Oceanside Orchids whom is a member here. He is doing all of the Paph breeding for Sunset Valley Orchids. They all arrived with 6 to 7 inch leaf span. The cross I received was SVO Ruby AM/AOS x Theresa. Lovely fairies.

    Paph villosum group

I’m assuming these came from Lee and company, correct? If so I think the tag also reads x self. Mine has extra wide petals and dorsal, do these?

That truly is a winner. Is this the first one that you bloomed from this cross? If not, how does this one compare to its siblings?

Wanted Black Paph with white accents?

If you are in no rush, I MIGHT be able to help you. I have a large # of paphs in different stages of bud development. Some from Lehua and some from Paph Paradise. I’ll be selling some in bud but I’m sure some won’t be sold until opened. Plus I want to see some opened in order to keep some. In...

    Paphiopedilum fairrieanum family

Nice. You must remember that we learn from our mistakes when growing orchids. As we all know you are now one of the better growers from flask. That is something to be proud of.

    Transporting Orchids From a Show

What I always do is bring an extra piece of luggage and send it threw as plan old luggage. I do prepare a head of time and in that luggage bring newspaper and tape or whatever you feel you will need to keep them safe and sound on your way home. I've never had any problems. Only down side is...

    Phal. first bloom Seedling

I know that there is now a shall we say blue craze in the phal novelty breeding. I thought of buying a flask or two but the results in the desired color is very small. Plus some that I've seen, are not a full flower. Am I correct in my assumption?

Not an alba but I still like it

Nice. Truthfully, very recently I attempted to purchase a couple of that cross, but they no longer had them in stock. Please share photos once the others decide to bloom.

Unknown new growth on Dendrobium Victoria Reginae

Personally, I wouldn't build up the medium. The root will find its way into the substrate with no problem.

    Cattleya Mareeba Tiger

Very pretty indeed. I grow a fair number of catts. myself. All most ever one loves catts. My only complaint about catts. is that many of them have short lived flowers. How long do these flowers last?

    Paphiopedilum Fanaticum

I too love fanaticum. Nice! I had 2 first time bloomers this year. I'm currently trying to keep the water out of the low sheath on another one. Mine were all of Sam's alba breeding and are blooming on a single growth. However, none of the these will bloom out albas in this generation.

Darlene, I like that one. Is the thickness of the flower thin? Please let me know about how long that flower stays fresh?
