I plan and run conferences in a different niche (mycology). Chiming in to say costs are going up across the board. $110 for a one-day event with all these speakers seems very reasonable to me. If I could get there, I'd be happy to pay that much for a ticket. I wish I could go.

Anybody know if the presentations are recorded and available for someone who buys a virtual ticket but can't attend that day? Thank you.

Yes, if you attend or buy a virtual ticket, it's available to you after the fact. Sorry I didn't see this earlier. I will find out if you can register after the fact for the virtual, and see the recording.

You are kind! But, they did pull it and award a 77 pt HCC. Yay, Hadley!!! I brought it because it was in bloom, but it's nowhere near the form of the first bloom of one flower I had a couple of years ago that was wonderfully flat. Texture and color were consistent, though, but, the dorsal and synsepal were cupped which kept it from being flat, but I'm thrilled it was awarded as I was not expecting it. Room to upgrade!

Darlene, I had the phrag cross I got a division of from you, there. First bloom on the division for me, but I love it. They didn't pull it for AOS judging, it needs to establish more, but it did get a second place ribbon in its class. (Carmine 'Ken Wilson' AM/AOS x Cardinale). Cross was named Hai An N Le and it's a wonderfully large flower, with beautiful color! Here is the photo from Linus' post:
