Maybe I'm just out of the loop, but it doesn't seem like a lot of folks are hybridizing with fairrieanum these days. I know it doesn't produce the traditional round, flat, dinner plate shapes that are so popular, but it does tend to make for some interesting looking flowers. In this case, it has also produced some pretty coloration, and I'm not even a huge fan of pinks and purples, but that's a pretty flower.

I also like fairrieanum hybrids and produce them when I can. I have a few fairrieanum crosses in various stages of development.
Paph Hanna Cramer
Paph Reinier (helenae X fairrieanum)
Paph (Paradise Gem X fairrieanum)
Paph (Little Trouble X fairrieanum)
Paph Tawan
Paph (King Goldemar X fairrieanum)

Maybe a few others I can't remember at the moment.

I have plants from a (Paradise Gem x fairrieanum) from you that are growing out slowly, not close to blooming I don't think, but they're picking up in growth. Some other singles also like a Reinier and a Hannah Cramer! Excited for them to bloom at some point... I'll send them along when it happens, maybe next year (ha!)

Ross, this is the plant you gave me at the Paph Forum a couple of years ago. First time it's bloomed, 2 flowers. Sweet thing it is!
Paph Little Man (Paph. Manayunk ‘K9422’ x Little by Little ‘War Eagle’ HCC/AOS)

Very well grown! One of the most important characteristics to breed for in miniature/compact Paphs is floriforousness.
