SVO 9683 Clowesetum Afterglow (Cl. Rebecca Northern ‘Grapefruit Pink’ x Ctsm. spitzii ‘SVO Gold’) is blooming for me for the first time!!
It’s like a soft pale yellow & slightly larger version of Rebecca Northern.
Typical semi-sweet menthol Catasetum scent. A bit of citrus note would have been perfect with yellow flowers but can’t have it all
Cycnoches warscewiczii is opening up next to it. Once open, it will be as big as all the eight flowers of Afterglow combined.
Phalaenopsis modesta has finally decided to bloom again after a long pause. Amazing grape soda scent!!
Psychopsis papilio var. aureum ‘Cove’s Canary’ x self
It has been blooming on two spikes for quite some time now but first time to see both in bloom together.
And nearly all my Phalaenopsis (supermarketienses, schilleriana, stuartiana...) are either in high bud or spiking.
Then, some mini/compact Vandaceous hybrids and Brassavola nodosa are also coming along nicely.
Season of plenty for a little indoor garden
