A few vandaceous

Bought as ascocentrum miniatum, but I don't think it is.. Looks close to Ascocenda Pralor. Quite compact and free flowering.



One of my favourite vandas, Papilionanda Mimi Palmer. Fragrant when the flowers are exposed to sun, just like some Encyclias. Also free-flowering. This has been in bloom everytime I return to my hometown.



New acquisition. I don't usually grow strap-leaved vandas but this is one colour that you can never find in slippers Vanda Pachara Delight.





And a friend. Phal Ipoh Red Gem, first blooming. A complex hybrid with a lot of cornu-cervi chattaladae blood.

Love the variety of colors and patterns. Pachara Delight is one of my all time favorite vanda's

Gorgeous photos and that VPD is a true blue and magnificent. I'd call that color cerulean blue and perfect.
