Yes, l bought it from Chuck Acker a couple of years ago as a two growth plant and it has taken off from there. Would love to get it a point where it has 5-6 spikes going.

I think you're almost there! :)

So this throws underground growths??
I have besseae x fisceri whose new growth is growing at the node way up from from the base of the older growth.
I should probably cover it up with moss. No roots would come out yet although the new growth has four leaves.
