Agdia Strips

I got some of these in 2014 and I still have some left. They have a "use by" date of aug 2015. I called Agdia and got 2 different answers. First person told me that they're not reliable after the use by date. The other told me that they're good for at least 3 years after purchase and that it should still be ok till Aug 2017. As long as I see a clear "control line" then it should be ok. So I went ahead and tested some phals today. All came out negative and the control line was very clear. Do you guys have any experience with these strips? Thanks!

Considering the very clear control line response, I would say your plant is fine. I've used these strips for years, but I don't think any were stored for that long. I assume they have been refrigerated. Mike

I haven't used Agdia strips, but I use similar products in my work. I would agree that if they had been stored properly and the control worked they should be reliable.
