This is the first bloom of these plants (in a compot).

I got a flask of Ancistrochilus rothschildianus 'Hopbrook' x self (TN7960) from Troy Meyers in Jan, 2016. So it took exactly 3 years after deflasking. Seeds were from Lawrence Schweitzer.

I'm growing at the intermediate temp, max/min of 86-80/65-60F year round.

Eric, I think I had a fairly high initial mortality (probably 1/2) with this species out of flask, too. But the surviving ones seem to do well, and I don't do anything special. Moderate amount of light (slightly more than typical Paph). It is potted in a shallow container with sponge rock:med. bark=1:1. Actually I used size-sifted mulching bark last time when I repotted them. It is kept fairly dry in general (water every 4-7 days and more toward every 7 days in the winter). RH is pretty high (>80%).
