This is my Phrag. Nicholle Tower showing off its P. dalessandroi genes.

This morning, with the newest bud cracking open, it achieved a high mark. There are 8 flowers open at once. This may last only for a day or two, it's but worth noting, for sure.

If I'm doling out clonal names, I'd have to call this one Phrag. Nicholle Tower "Flame Cloud".

Amazing! What a nice display! After seing yours I need to make my own one, will use a longifolium gracile that is in spike right now.

Towering Inferno, I'll have to keep that on in mind. Only thing is, this is a small, compact plant, less than 20 inches (50 cm) tall in bloom. Foliage stands about 6 inches (15 cm) tall, so the Towering part would be a bit tongue in cheek.

So far it has only produced 1 new growth at a time. I'm thinking I may need to pinch the next spike to see if I can coax it into producing a few growths. I think it would be pretty cool to see at least a couple/few spikes at once.

Anybody know anything about the Black As Night longifolium? I'm assuming, given the size of my plant, that it's not the "full sized" variety, but I don't think I've seen any information or photos of it.

Thanks for the kind words and laughs everyone.
