My very first Phrag. bloom opened yesterday. Not the best color I've ever seen, but
it has other buds coming on and two more Phrags. in bud. I'm awfully proud of
myself

As I am sure you know, color on besseae is very sensitive to temp.

Thank you, thank you all. I wasn't sure I could grow Phrags. at all. Actually, the color is much better than the
photo and has brightened and deepened since this first day
open photo.

OZman, my Phrags. have to tolerate temps. at 60F or
slightly above and I'm sure that affects color. I don't care...I'm in love!!!
