This one isn't so remarkable except that it was a plant on death's door a couple years back. That year I bought it in flower and it had a single, large growth. It looked fine, but after flowering the plant went into decline - like a dummy I didn't repot and it nearly died. It struggled the first year, but last winter it picked up and grew a nice small growth. I was amazed when I saw it in sheath this spring!

The flower is a bit small and perhaps a bit more twisty than I remember it, but I'm pleased just to see it happy again.

Nice bloom. What did you change in repotting it?

Nothing much, it just needed new mix. I'm guessing it was mass produced and had spent its entire life in just the one small pot I bought it in. I think it had one good root left, so I was surprised it made such a quick recovery - a testament to this hybrid's vigor.
