The first large bloom (largest slipper flower here for me until now) finally opened on my acc. to the tag => Paph René Klinge (a very large plant, 2 mature growths and 2 starters); but I don't intend to start a discussion here: acc. to RHS it is Wössner Black Wings from Fr. Glanz, G. Schmidt (L'amazone) confirmed to me that in fact it should be his naming !

What so ever: I had the confirmation by this plant again, that whatever the name, I have a lot to learn conc. multis esp. when spiking ! This one is sort of serpent with 1 bloom now and 2 buds!

The bloom I like it for its size!

Nice snake you got there... :p Oddly, I think this one shows less anitum influence than previous hybrids we have seen on ST...
:drool: It's a beaute! I agree, the dorsal has such clean lines!:clap:

Nice work Jean!!!
Anybody in need?!: I've seen budding (huuuuuuuuuuuge) plants at Popow's today!
;0)) And they are very very nice plants.

PS: I do enjoy your black backdrop!!!

What did you smuggle out of there? Or did you go back home with 'empty hands' :) ? Jean

A orchid collector going to a nursery / breeder and coming home empty handed. I think that the laws of physics state that such a thing is actually impossible. :poke::p

Oh, it was terrible indeed!!! I’ll only say this much: if you don’t want to be broke fort he rest of your life, if you have not quite lost it yet, if you believe you’ve seen it all…..: YOU DON’T WANT TO GO THERE.
