That's my plant. Note the pods.
Not my finger, although the finger is easily recognizable. :)
You walked right by it at OZ.
I posted a pic of this bloom previously, but this is a better blooming or better photo.

On crosses.
--I selfed it; it is so darn nice
--I crossed with the FCC kovachii
--More flowers are coming. I will likely sib with another excellent besseae flavum
--then not sure what else

It's also a vigorous plant. So everything good.

We have not confirmed that it is 4N but it was treated for conversion. The substance is cardboard and the shape is as you can see. I suppose if it weren't a 4N that would be even better news, if you think about the logic.

Amazing shape. I would like to see it crossed with a nice schlimii. I love primary hybrids!

Good idea on HP.
I had also been planning to cross it to HP in order to make more better St Ouens.
Vigorous plant. Probably one more bloom on this spike and another spike coming.

Even if I'm sure many orchids grower won't understand my point of view, I find it too round. It lost the petals tips what it's for me the main charm of besseae.

I usually like the selection with besseae and I understand the work to obtain this result.
But this one has gone too far for me.
