This is a primary hybrid (Brs. verrucosa x Brs. caudata.) registered and awarded in 1988. I believe this is a division of the original plant, gifted to me in 2018 from a member of my orchid society. He mentioned these can get very large and produce upwards of 8 spikes. I've only ever been able to get two spikes going. This was recently repotted this year and is a reliable grower and bloomer, if I had the space I would dedicate it to a larger pot. It has a pleasant but faint fragrance in the mornings, slightly fruity like a sweet citrus peel.

enjoy.

Absolutely gorgeous! And so many blooms on one spike. Amazing! I've been looking for Brs. Datacosa 'Coos Bay' for quite some time now. I have a couple of Brassias in my collection and would like to add this one too. Would you be kind enough and steer me in the right direction where I can get one? I would really appreciate it. Thank you.
