I recently purchased this I think in october but hnestley cant rememeber, I know its a division from a large plant. the cross is echinolabium X cootesii

I quite rather like the flower and yes it has a stinky smell but you have to get your nose in and touching the center of the flower, whether that will intensify i dont know yet.

I didnt know what I was expecting as I coundn't find any pics.

That was my thought as well lol.. great blooming!! Shape and color are both excellent!! How is the smell?

Very nice. Also looks like a bulbo that doesn't "wander" out of the pot - a huge plus.

I have a Bulbo. ambrosia that is doing that. It's doubled in size up to 40 growths, has roots hanging in mid-air, and won't bloom, :viking:!!!

It's not very stinky at all not even a horrible smell off seen as both parents can be extremely stinky
