I suspect that with smaller, compact Phalaenopsis like yours, it has Phalaenopsis amabilis in the background. Likely more than once.
It is my favorite Phalaenopsis species. It promotes good flower count, keikie production, elongation and re-flowering on existing flower spikes. Some varieties produce branched inflorescences. Often times the flowers, while smallish, have pretty good form.
