Did you keep the plant too dry? Sometimes with Bulbos, I feel, one is walking a thin (although not that thin) line between too moist (generating rot, especially with the new growths) and drying out (with bud blast, loss of leaves, etc).

Imdeed this year im keeping everything too dry, lost a few plants too, i barely cam stay on top if everuthing, time to downsize a bit
