They do indeed GP! They can even get to this stage ------ one of the previous blooms from the same plant/orchid.

Totally with you on that abax! Thanks for mentioning the 'Candy' part ------ and very rightfully wondered about too.

At certain stages of the flower aging, some spotted catts give the nice impression of the lollies/candy of various sorts, such as the one from this link here, which I pasted the pic of (from somebody's website but I had to do a slight correction on the spelling of the grex name with my photo editor). web link.
